well here i am finally found the time to blog after a hiatus of about a wk...left singapore on 6 nov for wisconsin n comin back on 17 nov...could not sleep on the 5th because the rush of xcitement within me from ip induction was driving me nuts...only managed to nap n had to get up at 2 am bcos flight was at 5.30am...sunk in that the flight was gonna be very looooong n booooring(without the personal entertainment screen that SIA has)...managed to get a few 45 min naps on the plane...but i mean 14 hrs on a plane would drive anyone up the wall...finally the time left till arrival was a single digit n i was like finally man...for the last 3 hrs i could not sleep anymore so i was like just staring into thin air tryin to rmb the grt wk of induction...the lovely seniors n our terrific new class 05ip05...

first day was pretty short...arrived at like 1 pm in wisconsin...went home n prepared the fire n stuff for the cookout also known as tailgating or bbq in singapore...loved the idea of cooking in the cold...got introduced to something wonderful known as brats(emphasis on the t)...they are lovely huge sausages that i bbqed to perfection(as if)~cheeky grin~...well perfect as if pretty burnt then yah kinda....hahaha....

second day started with mass which was nice n early...the community is like really warm n close n all...very welcoming...then we went out shopping...well i noe u guys r like WHAT!!!!U WENT SHOPPING!!!! well i am not metro or anything like dat k....well u would hav loved it if u could get converse shoes for about $50...billabong shirts for $20...n a brand new real cool green bay packer trucker hat for $10....so i guess how enjoyable shopping is really depends on how much stuff u buy...so well...had like the best steak ever at applebees' just lovely....

3rd day we wntto this real cool place called the house on the rock...which was like this house with amazing architecture(hoped i spelled that rite) n terrific decorations...it started with the main house being filled with real amazing decor n stuff but expanded out to like real massive displays like knights armour...crown jewels...n even the world's largest carousel...so yah spent 3.5 hrs there...realli brillant...

4day was kinda like a real slak day not doing much just lazing about the house...

fifth day we went to cave of the mounts which is this natural cave in wisconsin...which is a cave of stuff like limestone, calcite n stuff(realli foreign to a geography loser like myself).....just watchin was so amazing i didnt quite care about facts n all...so yah....

sixth day was slack again hanging out at auntie jo's place with the kids n all being the main programme...

seventh day we wnt to holy hill which is a carmelite monasterty n had mass in the chapel...which is like really beautiful inside really magnificent n for dinner bbqed brats again(could not get enuff the last time) but this time the temp was below 0*c so it was really freezing
