on the 10th of July, something pretty amazing happened.

started out like an ordinary thursday morning waking up late because assembly starts late on thurs and as I walked to the bus-stop it started to drizzle and after i got on the 852 it got worse. so the bus made its way to school and the tune of the taize song "God is Forgiveness" popped into my head, funny thing is i could remember the whole song except the first line "God is Forgiveness" and so i just hummed it in my head with the rest of the lyrics and it kinda brought me joy. and then just as the 852 was reaching the school bus stop, i pressed the button but somehow the bus driver happily chose to forgo our stop. i was so pissed at that moment every swear word i knew came out. and with the anger in the mind, the song popped out of my head and i got off at six avenue and crossed the road in the pouring rain getting even more angry and was soaked and got on another bus to take me back to school. and then as i was walking into school the taize song popped into my head again, this time with the first line ringing clearly in my head. i was like argh ok God i get the message i'll forgive him and i'll move on with the day and then just like that i gave the anger to God and it brightened up my day and i could hum the song cheerfully again. and then as i walked up the stairs to the canteen i saw a lovely rainbow, i was like wow God what a beautiful thing to show me, especially after the rain had stopped. and then as i stood looking at the rainbow more closely when i was at the canteen it was the most beautiful and biggest and complete rainbow i have ever seen, in fact for a while there were actually two of them. simply amazing. message of the day: there's always a rainbow at the end of every storm if you care to look closely and forgiveness brings tremendous joy and peace!
