booked out in the afternoon
went home for lunch, french onion soup, turkey, rosemary pork and some salad.

NYE picnic @ hortpark with the ip homies
took lots of white pictures and did lots of white things

went to alexandra village for dinner with jiayi,weiliang,zhirong,jem,colin,joel,lou and jo and had the avocado shake and stewed beef noodles.

left for town with jiayi,weiliang and zhirong. walked to carrefour to get drinks and walked back to esplanade, found a spot on the grass patch to sit down and waited for countdown, which seemed like an eternity.

10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 and the fireworks began! spectacular, simply fantastic and extremely loud. we had a awesome view and felt the full vibration of the ground.

hung around till the crowd dwindled down and then walked to smu to take a bus back to upper thomson then walked home. had some snacks and drinks cos some relatives were over and the swedish vodka mix from ikea was amazing and then slept around 4plus.

on New Yr's day woke up for 11am mass and then met Uncle Mervin and Aunty Jean and walked back home for a nice lunch of random leftovers with more drinks and then rested in the afternoon then woke up for dinner @ brazil meat buffet place at Katong Village, again truly fantastic meat and nice desserts.

2nd Jan - IP Guys + Friends outing

supposed to start at 830 but only me jiayi ben and zhirong were there, so we went up to eat cai fan breakfast special (nice hokkien mee) and then bryan came. justin and lou both came around 915 or so. jem and zm slightly later, so we played 7grade pig while waiting for the rest who were extremely late.

finally began our frisbee game. runners (bryan,jem,terence,ben) vs underdogs (me,justin,zhirong,jiayi and zm) underdogs won by golden goal. whoo

rested for a while then played our first soccer game in a long while. played striker first then scored 1, then played keeper and saved 1, back to striker and completed my hat-trick before playing keeper and saving a shot from justin at point blank range, but couldnt stop his final shot 5 mins later from going in.

lunch @ bukit timah food centre. had charsiew & roasted pork wanton mee. was really good. then went to play CS. never had this much fun playing lan, played some nice open maps and some ridiculously dumb maps but had tonnes of fun. loved using the AK, haha too bad the army doesnt have any.

went for dinner at al-ameen. mutton chop was a rip-off but the mee goreng seafood was pretty nice.

left for jelita for snacks and drinks then to jem's house for second round of 7gradepig, was extremely funny and such a cunning game. played texas hold em up and talked cock and sung westlife songs haha. went down for post midnight food and snacks then went up to sleep.

woke up around 9 and lazed around, left for home around 11 for lunch with Grandma and Uncle Mervin and Aunty Jean and my family.

24th
-booked out Christmas Eve afternoon
-went home to wash up, got ready for Christmas Mass at 6pm (Family Mass)
-went to Aunty Cat's for Cousin's Gathering (Mum's Side)
-went back to Holy Spirit for Midnight Mass with KNN, after mass hung around in Church -wishing everyone and listening to Relient K Christmas Album @ 7 Miles

25th
-embarked on a 3km route march to bryne's house, managed to convince lazy isabel teh to join the party instead of going home to sleep. bought cup noodles and shandy on the way there.
-camwhored with the 2 isabels and julian and left with them around 445am
-came home and slept around 6am
-woke up around 12noon and left for Aunty Nancy's place for Xmas Lunch
-came home slept till 9am till Aunty Ramona, Kath and Uncle Albert came over for wine and cheese. awesome stuff.

26th
-woke up @ 730 cos i couldnt sleep anymore
-caught the second half of the lakers-celtics game, which lakers won due to poor form of celtics. sad end to their 19 game winning streak.
-washed up and left to the the other agents and master ariel for dance outing at city hall
-reached at 955 and no one else was there yet. jem came about 10 mins later then mel tee another 5 mins later and master ariel chua ying ting another 5 mins later. called joel and terence at 1030 and they were still at home. lou just awoke which was even worse.
-decided to go to soup spoon for brunch since master, mel and myself were really hungry. had the awesome clam chowder, mocha and smoked ham and cheese sandwich. yt found her mushroom soup a bit too thick. haha. joel and terence came around 1130 looking totally wasted from a night of indecent fun haha.
-walked to marina to try and catch bedtime stories but the movie was only at 215 and master had to go meet her parents so with her sovereign permission we adjourned to starbucks and i had another mocha
-took a bus to cine cos lou was gonna meet her friends and i thought i would get presents for my sis and my young cousins timmy and erica, bought the three of them stuff toys which they totally adore. walked around cine with mel tee, jem and master looking for stuff to get then went to heeren where we did some rather white things with my instruction (cf facebook photos posted by mel) and then went to taka to walk around somemore and go to kino to get some books. ended up buying some really cool sniper book and another gulf war book. we met darius who's in town for the holidays
-master brought mel tee to meet her parents haha (Meet the Chuas)
-walked with jem and darius out of taka to orchard mrt and took a train back to bishan
-bought my bros xmas present, a psp cover then got picked up to go home
-washed up, changed into my uniform
-went for dinner at Charlie's Peranakan food
-booked in

must say it's been the best Xmas so far. really loads of sheer fun and fantastic company all round. loads of festive cheer. lots of white moments and happy memories which i will treasure when im back in camp. must say my singapore life is kinda dreamlike and tekong life is the reality, which isnt entirely a bad thing, since i treasure the time i spend in the mainland so much more now. so nice to see the people i havent seen in a while and i really enjoyed catching up with friends and family. and just as master ariel wished me, it was truly the best christmas i have had thus far. i think her royal highness has somekind of supernatural ability of foretelling the future.

and what better way to spread the festive cheer with an awesome song.

I'm off to Club Med from 20-24 Nov
Then I'm free from 25-30 Nov
Prom is on the 1st of Dec going on till the wee hours of the 2nd
waking up in the afternoon of the 2nd, dinner with family
and the next morning is time to get up and go get ready to enlist.
